A weak supplier costs you customers, not just money. If a jar fails or a buyer asks for proof, your name is on it. Ask these ten questions before you place a wholesale order for shilajit.
The ten questions
- Can I see a lab report for this product? It should name the product, the batch and the laboratory. Ours are on the lab reports page. See also how to read lab reports as a reseller.
- Which certificates do you hold? Chitral House holds ISO 9001, ISO 22000, GMP and Halal. See the certificates page.
- Where is it sourced? Ours comes from Chitral and Gilgit-Baltistan. See our sourcing ethics.
- What grade and drying method is it? Semi-sun-dried and Aftabi are different. See the grades guide.
- Can I order a sample first? A supplier who refuses is a warning sign.
- What is the minimum order? Ours is 30 pieces per product and size for wholesale. See the wholesale page.
- Can you supply under my brand? Private label starts at 100 pieces (200 for some products). See private label shilajit and wholesale vs private label.
- How is it delivered and how fast? We ship by TCS to any city in Pakistan, usually in 2 to 7 working days for wholesale.
- How is it packed for shipping? Ask how jars are protected. See storing and shipping shilajit in bulk.
- Who do I contact after the sale? You need a named contact. Ours is WhatsApp 0313 5096432.
Red flags
- No lab report, or a report with no batch or laboratory name.
- A price far below every other quote for the same grade.
- No answer on source or drying method.
- Pressure to pay before a written quote.
