Shilajit is a growing product for shops and online sellers in Pakistan. Starting is not hard, but a poor supplier can damage your name. This guide covers the steps, from choosing a supplier to selling.
Step 1: choose a supplier you can check
- Ask for a lab report that names the product, the batch and the laboratory. Ours are on the lab reports page.
- Ask for the certificates. Ours are on the certificates page.
- Confirm the source and the grade. See the grades guide.
- Order a sample first.
Step 2: choose what you will sell
- Ready-packed jars: no packing work. Our wholesale jars start at a minimum order of 30 pieces. See the wholesale page.
- Bulk resin by the kg: you pack it yourself, which gives a better margin but needs clean packing and labelling. See the 1 kg shilajit price guide for grades and rates.
- Your own brand: private label gives you your own name on the jar. See private label shilajit.
Step 3: set your prices
- Take your wholesale cost per jar.
- Add delivery, packing, advertising and returns.
- Check what the market charges for the same size. Our retail list is the shilajit price list.
- Do not price far below the brand you resell, or customers will doubt it.
Step 4: sell honestly
- Do not make medical claims. Shilajit is a supplement and not a medicine.
- Share the usual daily amount and the advice to ask a doctor in some cases. See precautions.
- Keep the lab report ready to show buyers.
Step 5: where to sell
- A physical shop, herbal store or pharmacy counter.
- Your own website or social page with cash on delivery.
- WhatsApp groups and local orders.
Common mistakes
- Buying the cheapest bulk resin with no lab report.
- Storing jars in heat. See storage tips.
- Not keeping the batch number for each sale.
- Overpromising results to customers.
